About
Graduate cum laude both in Classical Literature (2.07.1994, dissertation: “Bachtin and the origin of novel”) and in Philosophy (17.12.2003, disseration: “Francisco De Hollanda and the theory of artistic creation in the Sixteenth-Century”), took a Ph.D. in Aesthetics and Art Theories (17.2.2000, dissertation: “Leon Battista Alberti and the art theory in the Fifteenth-Century”).
Now she is researcher at The University of Palermo (FIERI-AGLAIA Department) and she lectures at the Faculty of Architecture (Aesthetics) and at the Faculty of Literature (Aesthetics of the New Media) at the University of Palermo; her main interests are in theory of arts, design and new media aesthetics. She is a member of the International Centre for the Study of Aesthetics and the Italian Society of Aesthetics (SIE).
